Since 2005, Kevin J. Brandl from Guardbridge in Scotland was manning his family’s fish store in the local market. Their store was well known through word of mouth. In 2010, Brandl attended a seminar about online businesses where people could sell their products online that would allow them to reach more customers.

Brandl ended up asking several questions seeing as he had a small background with online business integration let alone marketing. However, that did not stop him from learning the ropes and becoming a fully adept digital entrepreneur after only a year.

2011

In 2011, the Brandl Fish Store was integrated online and its operation blew up. Brandl, on many occasions, stated that the success of his venture was through business intelligence and the collection of business data.

Brandl’s success story captured Scotland and he decided to help local businesses in their area, so he started with focus groups focused on business intelligence.

2014 – Introduction of IQ4bis

In 2014, Brandl introduced his own business intelligence firm IQ4bis. The business targeted start-ups and small businesses in the area of Fife. IQ4bis provided services including business intelligence, data warehouse, data entry, and business analysis.

The firm helped dozens of businesses adapt in the modern world wherein most competitors are making use of automation and disruption.

In 2015, IQ4bis landed several big clients including international accounting and IT companies.
